Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Force Of Speed could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Waving Cookie, Big Swede, Panther, Mana, Prince, Belle De Jour, Whatever Spring, Force Of Speed. No Fear was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Mana looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Belle De Jour couldn't come out from behind the leader, Waving Cookie.



Force Of Speed looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Swede couldn't come out from behind the leader, Panther.






Big Swede sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
