The weather had been good all week and Lappeenranta was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sneaky Scout could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Charlie Boy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Honourable Mustache sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Calming Puma accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Trépigner showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Brilliant Buddy speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Charlie Boy won. Brilliant Buddy came in second. Calming Puma caught third place.
