It had been raining for several days at Östersund but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





La Maglia took the lead after a very quick start.




Lady Speed saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Fawltys Corri took the lead after 1000m. Giselle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Fawltys Corri was still in the lead after 1500m. Quarterback galloped for 10 m.




Fawltys Corri kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Heavy Scope was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



With only a little left of the race Heavy Scope galoped for 30 m. Old Pirate speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Fawltys Corri, 2 Like A Said, 3 Sowing Tropic.
