One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gare Du Nord took the lead after a very quick start.




Gare Du Nord was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Rate Of Exchange looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wandering Ruby couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gare Du Nord.



Triton's Night looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rate Of Exchange couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gare Du Nord.






Triton's Night never caught up with Gare Du Nord who won. Rate Of Exchange came third.
