One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fast Play found a gap and took the lead. Hook Me Up followed before Skipping Pie.

Hook Me Up was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hook Me Up followed by Sayanora Hotshot and Junction Box. Lane two Fast Play followed by Regrette Rien and Skipping Pie.



Hook Me Up sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Fast Play never caught up with Hook Me Up who won. Sayanora Hotshot came third.
