Start List
Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Bold Ruby. Duncan Brady ended up behind the leader. Sliding Scope got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Glory Story showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Gentleman Stone saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Beautiful Amazon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. North Baracuda was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Beautiful Amazon followed by Gentleman Stone and Ont De Paradis. Lane two Clever Thinking followed by Sliding Scope and Cam Neely. Beautiful Amazon didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Clever Thinking litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Roger Malmqvist tried a little too much on the homestretch and Cam Neely started to galopp and lost 30 m. Duncan Brady galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Sliding Scope won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
