The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Backslash found a gap and took the lead. Global Runner followed before Glorious Star. Somewhere In Time suddenly started to galop. Per Gustafsson had to struggle to get Somewhere In Time to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Somewhere In Time, Flying Bolero, Piri Piri Cherry, Glorious Star, Leopard Larockma, La Porta Portie, Global Runner, Backslash.

Somewhere In Time was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Glorious Star galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Somewhere In Time followed by Leopard Larockma and Backslash. Lane two Global Runner followed by La Porta Portie and Piri Piri Cherry.

Somewhere In Time was still in the lead after 2000m.

Leopard Larockma was first on the homestretch followed by Somewhere In Time and Global Runner.

Piri Piri Cherry made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Glorious Star.
