It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Press Machine. Now We Talking ended up behind the leader. Rétablissement got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Rolling Heat, Growing Box, Sail With Me, Saignant Élire, Rétablissement, Press Machine, French Lover, Guard Of Ottawa.

Sail With Me sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sail With Me today. It continued in the lead. Rolling Heat galloped for 50 m.

Sail With Me sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Rétablissement showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Walking Factory galoped for 30 m. Sail With Me were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Walking Factory started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Saignant Élire sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
