The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Sodankylä today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Roy took the lead after a very quick start.




Power Behemoth quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sowing Top looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cheval Noir couldn't come out from behind the leader, Power Behemoth.




Power Behemoth was still in the lead after 1500m. Big Roy galloped for 40 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Elephants On Parade gallopped for 30 m.




Brave Factory put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Power Behemoth was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Stockholm Citizen speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Sowing Top galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Final standings. 1 Big Roy, 2 Cheval Noir, 3 Brave Factory.
