The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Fall could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Simple Magic saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Hard Architecture started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Simple Magic followed by Heavenly Starlight and Flying Hercules. Lane two Backstabbing Fall followed by Screaming Behemoth and Out Of Control. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Out Of Control gallopped for 10 m.



With only a little left of the race Out Of Control galoped for 40 m. Flying Hercules was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Simple Magic kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Simple Magic. Backstabbing Fall came in second. Heavenly Starlight became third.
