One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





S:t Petersburg Miracle found a gap and took the lead. Jarrow followed before Why Die. Gunnar Melander wanted a little to much in the start and Moulin De Cassy galoped for 10 m.




S:t Petersburg Miracle was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Spock started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one S:t Petersburg Miracle followed by Jarrow and Honey. Lane two Why Die followed by Moscow Night and Spock. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Jarrow gallopped for 30 m.




S:t Petersburg Miracle sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Spock galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



S:t Petersburg Miracle were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch S:t Petersburg Miracle today who won before Why Die and Jarrow.
