One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Periphere sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Periphere today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Maximum Overheat gallopped for 50 m.




Periphere kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Periphere sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Everything You Aint sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
