It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Play took the lead after a very quick start. Walking Play was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Time To Chill looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Walking Play couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sweeper.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Walking Play followed by Powerful Behemoth and Calming Moon. Lane two Sleepy Pearl followed by Time To Chill and Frozen Stereo. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Time To Chill gallopped for 50 m. Sweeper galloped way to long and was disqualified. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Calming Moon gallopped for 20 m. From My Heart galloped for 40 m.




Walking Play kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Sweeper was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Walking Play looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Powerful Behemoth galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sweeper galop. Sweeper lost 50 m.




Walking Play never caught up with Sleepy Pearl who won. Time To Chill came third.
