It had been raining for several days at Tornio but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trollhammaren found a gap and took the lead. Intergalatic followed before Perfect Cake.




Intergalatic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Trollhammaren looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Perfect Cake couldn't come out from behind the leader, Intergalatic.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Intergalatic today. It continued in the lead.



Trollhammaren litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Trollhammaren. Intergalatic came in second. Perfect Cake became third.
