The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chameleon found a gap and took the lead. Prospectus followed before Trembling Lilac.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Chameleon followed by Atomic Children and Just Wave. Lane two Prospectus followed by Pointing Lilac and Trembling Lilac. Star King galloped for 50 m.




Prospectus seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Prospectus were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Chameleon made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Prospectus.
