One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Cake took the lead after a very quick start. Ove A Lindqvist wanted a little to much in the start and Éclair Blanc galoped for 30 m. Fuld Kræfter was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

Heavenly Tropic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Heavenly Tropic was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heavenly Tropic followed by Stone Temple Guardian and Perfect Cake. Lane two Try To Beat Me followed by Éclair Blanc and Throughout The Nation. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Bleu Et Jaune gallopped for 50 m.

Heavenly Tropic didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Perfect Cake was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Heavenly Tropic were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Try To Beat Me made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Heavenly Tropic.
