One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waving Thinker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Waving Thinker was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Flying Map looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Waving Thinker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Always Sunny.




Waving Thinker was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Glorious gallopped for 10 m.




Waving Thinker didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Tequila Sunrise gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



Waving Thinker were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Always Sunny today who won before Waving Thinker and Flying Map.
