One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Polished Runner found a gap and took the lead. Ridealong Long followed before Backstabbing Pearl.




This is the positions after 500m. Backstabbing Pearl, Pointing News, Polished Runner, Sneaking Lady, Willy Winner, Ridealong Long, Beauty, Cinderella.




Polished Runner took the lead after 1000m. Ridealong Long didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Polished Runner today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Polished Runner gallopped for 30 m. Cinderella galloped for 40 m.



Polished Runner looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Polished Runner didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
