The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Giacomo Casanova. Rolling Rockstar ended up behind the leader. Chiela got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Thunder Fire, Runs Like Poethry, Foo-foo, Chiela, Prince Victory, Mr Confident, Rolling Rockstar, Trollhammaren. Vector galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Runs Like Poethry sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Thunder Fire was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Rolling Rockstar sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Bo Falsig tried a little too much on the homestretch and Giacomo Casanova started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Winner of todays race was Rolling Rockstar. Mr Confident came in second. Trollhammaren became third.
