Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Better Stand Up found a gap and took the lead. Platinum Night followed before Loop Head. Tongue In Cheek was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Platinum Night, Better Stand Up, Loop Head, Cube Is Nowhere, No Excuses, Estimer, Tongue In Cheek, Leaving Amsterdam. A bird flew just in front of Leaving Amsterdam who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Loop Head looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Better Stand Up couldn't come out from behind the leader, Platinum Night.




Loop Head saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Tongue In Cheek galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Loop Head were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Platinum Night sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
