One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wandering Queen sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Wandering Queen suddenly started to galop. Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get Wandering Queen to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Unschlagbar was in fine shape and held the lead.

Moonlight Glittering looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lost In Dreams couldn't come out from behind the leader, Unschlagbar.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Unschlagbar followed by Moonlight Glittering and Flying Hercules. Lane two Wandering Queen followed by Lost In Dreams and Out Of Control. Awesome Royale One started to gallop after 1500m and Akseli Lahtinen had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Wandering Queen galloped for 40 m.

driver couldn't keep Lost In Dreams to trotting so they were disqualified. Unschlagbar looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Wandering Queen never caught up with Unschlagbar who won. Moonlight Glittering came third.
