The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Extra Cheese could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Dead Satellite was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Great Deed sprinted to the front. Dead Satellite started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Brave Thinker sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Corny Bob looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Top Sister gallopped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Donatello gallopped for 50 m.

I Got Rhythm seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Donatello was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.

I Got Rhythm kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Evelotion Palema was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Corny Bob won the race after a spectacular finish.
