Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Piece sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Sometimes It´s happening started to galop and lost 30 m.




Heartbreaker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Heavenly Girl sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Power Hero galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Heavenly Girl today. It continued in the lead.




Barolo Thistle seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Floating Pony was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Power Hero was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Barolo Thistle looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Big Piece won the race after a spectacular finish.
