It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blackbird sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Blackbird was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




In Two Seconds quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Mrs. Robinson sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Opal De Landemer looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Sad Starshine was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Opal De Landemer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Blackbird, 2 Brave Rose, 3 Mrs. Robinson.
