Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jemanja could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Grasping Diamond started to galop and lost 40 m.




Bright Idea saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Glowing Box was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Modest Princess sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Grasping Diamond galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Modest Princess was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Grasping Diamond gallopped for 20 m.



Modest Princess were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Stunning Pony galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Jemanja won the race after a spectacular finish.
