The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kookaburra sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Il Salvatore was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. True Racer galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sliding Boulder today. It continued in the lead.



Sliding Boulder looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sliding Boulder never caught up with Sneaky Tank who won. Kookaburra came third.
