One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Night could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sergeant Bandwith sprinted to the front.




Sad Starshine took the lead after 1000m. Sergeant Bandwith didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Close Night looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Close Night didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Sad Starshine galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Anfertigen Es Speziell was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Close Night looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Close Night kept the speed the whole finish and won before Miracle Ice and Sergeant Bandwith.
