One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Treat Me Bad found a gap and took the lead. Portable Valley followed before Verlenen Stevigheid.




The Red Rose was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Verlenen Stevigheid followed by Portable Valley and The Red Rose. Lane two Treat Me Bad followed by Helluva Finish and Five Of Hearts.



Treat Me Bad kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Verlenen Stevigheid never caught up with Portable Valley who won. Treat Me Bad came third.
