One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starter Poesy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Nashville Hero quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Nashville Hero clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Heavy Sniper accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Nashville Hero started to gallop after 1500m and Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Heavy Sniper kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Heavy Sniper galop. Heavy Sniper lost 40 m. Nashville Hero galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Sugar Action won the race after a spectacular finish.
