It had been raining for several days at Cagnes-Sur-Mer but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Douze could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Douze was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

Tropical Breeze saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Knockout Wood started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Mirror was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Red Horizon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Got To Go was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Red Horizon followed by Fils De Dieu and Tears Of Pride. Lane two Frasses Femtonde followed by Knockout Wood and Puch Puch Puch.

Red Horizon kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Mirror galop. Mirror lost 30 m. Got To Go showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Final standings. 1 Frasses Femtonde, 2 Red Horizon, 3 Puch Puch Puch.
