One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dream Of Fire found a gap and took the lead. Weekend Warrior followed before Göran Pond. driver couldn't keep Steel Hero to trotting so they were disqualified. Nutmeg Cherry showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

This is the positions after 500m. Weekend Warrior, Terminator, Shadowless Sword, Von Schmeganhausen, Rhapsody In Blue, Dream Of Fire, Gennaio Larockma, Somewhere In Time.

Weekend Warrior clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Terminator suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Weekend Warrior today. It continued in the lead.

Von Schmeganhausen put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Nutmeg Cherry was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.

Terminator was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Von Schmeganhausen sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Somewhere In Time to trotting so they were disqualified.

Weekend Warrior sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
