One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Magdalena Magpie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Magdalena Magpie was in fine shape and held the lead.




Tough Investigation looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sergeant Bandwith couldn't come out from behind the leader, Magdalena Magpie.




Tough Investigation saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Mighty Iron galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Magdalena Magpie was first on the homestretch followed by Sergeant Bandwith and Tough Investigation.






Magdalena Magpie kept the speed the whole finish and won before Sergeant Bandwith and Tough Investigation.
