The sun was shining on Skellefteå and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Abominable took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Malin Smaragd, Abominable, Pointing Starshine, Scarlet Eyes, Cappuccino, Brûlant Vouloir, , . A bird flew just in front of Brûlant Vouloir who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Abominable took the lead after 1000m. Pointing Starshine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Pointing Starshine galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Abominable followed by Scarlet Eyes and Cappuccino. Lane two Pointing Starshine followed by Malin Smaragd and Brûlant Vouloir.




Abominable kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Abominable looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Brûlant Vouloir galop. Brûlant Vouloir lost 20 m.




No-one could catch Abominable today who won before Pointing Starshine and Scarlet Eyes.
