The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Oviken this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Base Election could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Attractive Solution started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Winter Rose sprinted to the front. Rugged Action showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Colt Diamondback looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Base Election couldn't come out from behind the leader, Winter Rose.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Winter Rose today. It continued in the lead.



Winter Rose kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Attractive Solution won. Base Election came in second. Winter Rose caught third place.
