One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stunning Maid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Shining Ruby sprinted to the front. Funky Darkness started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Shining Ruby was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Silver Shadow looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Silver Shadow didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Silver Shadow kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Jörgen Sjunnesson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Shining Ruby started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Silver Shadow kept the speed the whole finish and won before Stunning Maid and Funky Darkness.
