Only a humble breeze blew over Lycksele this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Liberator could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Helpful Scout started to galop and lost 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Buddha Of Suburbia, Sergeant Bear, Hard Arraow, Quick Missile, Liberator, The Bill Please, Lectric Prototype, Starshine Fall. Helpful Scout galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Starshine Fall who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Buddha Of Suburbia clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Quick Missile galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Buddha Of Suburbia followed by Lectric Prototype and Liberator. Lane two Quick Missile followed by The Bill Please and Hard Arraow.



The Bill Please showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Starshine Fall galoped for 20 m. Buddha Of Suburbia sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

John Östman tried a little too much on the homestretch and Quick Missile started to galopp and lost 10 m. The Bill Please galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Lectric Prototype sprinted over the finishline before Buddha Of Suburbia and Hard Arraow.
