One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Michelangelo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Håkan Skoglund wanted a little to much in the start and Drive Me Gently galoped for 20 m.




Poetic Joyce saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Calming Stone was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Poetic Joyce clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Poetic Joyce was still in the lead after 1500m.



Climbing Stone litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Climbing Stone didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
