It had been raining for several days at Östersund but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Piniata De Lou. Africano ended up behind the leader. Ice Border got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Africano saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Africano was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Africano today. It continued in the lead.




Africano was still in the lead after 2000m.



You Name It was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Piniata De Lou suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Winner of todays race was Piniata De Lou. Africano came in second. Ice Border became third.
