The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Samostalen Lepota. Sunlover ended up behind the leader. First Shift got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Colander galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Busy Suzie quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Frasses Sjuttonde who started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Sunlover took the lead rather easily.

Golddigger looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m. Busy Suzie galloped for 40 m.

Sunlover took the lead.

Spin Around Victory was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Sunlover kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Lars Lindberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Spin Around Victory started to galopp and lost 50 m. Blackeberga Gregg was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

First Shift won the race after a spectacular finish.
