One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Viking Berserk found a gap and took the lead. Partout followed before Running Puma.

Partout quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. Stepping Cake started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Partout was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Silver Nugget looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Silver Nugget was still in the lead after 2000m.

driver couldn't keep Borland Delphi to trotting so they were disqualified. Borland Delphi was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Trépigner galoped for 10 m. Pinstripe´s Racingway litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Åsbjørn Tengsareid tried a little too much on the homestretch and Borland Delphi started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Viking Berserk sprinted over the finishline before Stepping Cake and Silver Nugget.
