The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Mantorp today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pommard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Rücken Zu Schürfen sprinted to the front.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Limerick Rake accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Rücken Zu Schürfen suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Rücken Zu Schürfen didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
