One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Abandonnez-vous Immédiatement could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Chico Chaco suddenly started to galop. Charles Degiorgio had to struggle to get Chico Chaco to tror again and succeded after 50 m. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Republicain looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tom couldn't come out from behind the leader, Abandonnez-vous Immédiatement. Abandonnez-vous Immédiatement was still in the lead after 1500m. With only a little left of the race Helluva Finish galoped for 20 m. Abandonnez-vous Immédiatement were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Helluva Finish was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Republicain never caught up with Abandonnez-vous Immédiatement who won. Josh Nix Kid came third. Results
