It had been raining for several days at Joensuu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Volo Vittoria could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sliding Rocker, Clever Night, Victor Tilly, Big Roy, Patchouli, Focused Rocker, Suivi Nuages, Volo Vittoria. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Patchouli took the lead after 1000m. Victor Tilly didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Patchouli today. It continued in the lead.

Pansy Flower was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Pansy Flower galloped way to long and was disqualified. Patchouli were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Seven Sisters sprinted over the finishline before Suivi Nuages and Victor Tilly.
