One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Currency Converter found a gap and took the lead. Lone Power followed before Old Hero. Gouverneur suddenly started to galop. Robert Bergh had to struggle to get Gouverneur to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Old Hero, Currency Converter, Lone Power, Gouverneur, , , , .




Currency Converter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gouverneur couldn't come out from behind the leader, Old Hero. Lone Power galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Currency Converter looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Old Hero galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Currency Converter didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Currency Converter was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



With only a little left of the race Currency Converter galoped for 10 m. Currency Converter looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Old Hero to trotting so they were disqualified.




Gouverneur sprinted over the finishline before Currency Converter and Old Hero.
