Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Jägersro track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ignatz could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Árón Mo Chroí quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Mustang Beach took the lead rather easily. Great Deed galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Master of Art galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Grand Wazoo galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Admiral Rocket looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Master of Art started to gallop after 1500m and Johnny Takter had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Ignatz suddenly took over the lead. Master of Art gallopped 50 m after 2000m.

Admiral Rocket was first on the homestretch followed by Ignatz and Brilliant Buddy.

Ignatz won the race after a spectacular finish.
