The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Östersund today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Powerful Frenzy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Nabucco quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Nabucco started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Powerful Frenzy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dreaming Scope couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nabucco.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nabucco followed by Dreaming Scope and Yndig Seier. Lane two Powerful Frenzy followed by Purple Light and Special Lady.



Nabucco looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Nabucco kept the speed the whole finish and won before Dreaming Scope and Powerful Frenzy.
