One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tempting Heat took the lead after a very quick start. Way To Go was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Berlusconi looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ambassadeur Du Dijon couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tempting Heat. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Rugged Sniper suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tempting Heat followed by Ambassadeur Du Dijon and Modest Trap. Lane two Berlusconi followed by Way To Go and Rugged Sniper. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.



Tempting Heat kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Berlusconi sprinted over the finishline before Tempting Heat and Way To Go.
