The weather had been good all week and Vaggeryd was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Weight Champion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Périscope saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Heavy Weight Champion started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Périscope was still in the lead after 1500m.




Périscope was still in the lead after 2000m.



Périscope looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Hot Dynamit won. Excellent Survivor came in second. Heavy Weight Champion caught third place.
