One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hope's Song found a gap and took the lead. Free From Spirits followed before Re Run.




Pari Tentativo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Pari Tentativo took the lead after 1000m. Sans Facon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Sans Facon saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Free From Spirits started to gallop after 1500m and Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Free From Spirits was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Sans Facon kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Hope's Song sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
