Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Light Sound. Hero ended up behind the leader. Moonchild got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Craftsman Palema sprinted to the front.

Derby Star sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Derby Star followed by Light Sound and Station Wagon. Lane two Hero followed by Fagerviks Gladiator and Moonchild. driver couldn't keep Wilma Larockma to trotting so they were disqualified.

Wilma Larockma galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Derby Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Wilma Larockma galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Claes Sjöström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Light Sound started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Hero won. Fagerviks Gladiator came in second. Derby Star caught third place.
